I would like to thank you all that was involved in putting this course together. This has been the information I’ve been searching for all in one convenient place. 1 small/minor negative from me, having to keep signing in lol. Everything else has been challenging but so rewarding. To put all this information together in a clear and concise manner really does show how much knowledge and experience you guys have behind you. Thank you again for all your time, hard work putting this together and sharing your knowledge. Keep safe and well guys, all the best. Adam.

Thanks for the course. Very challenging and a little mind-bending, which does no harm at all! I'm looking forward to a further journey and constant improvement, even after 35+ years in the commercial and domestic heating and gas industry. Ideally I would like to branch more into consultancy and teaching....Time will tell. Anyway, one point I would like to offer, is I feel that (not your fault as I understand the way the course has been designed), it is a little disjointed and would benefit adding up all the 'dots', for instance, it would prove worthwhile to have a building or two, which the services are designed as a 'whole', therefore linking up all the dots we have learned and improving our understanding. This then will encourage peer to peer discussions/ideas and further knowledge. Keep up the good work! Thanks again for your help.

I have to say this has been the most demanding yet rewarding thing I have ever done, at times I have wanted to throw the towel in and walk away but perseverance has seen me get to the end. I have to admit I still don't understand so much of it but with the use off the fb group and continuous discussions I am hopeful that I will nail it. for me the hardest part was staying focused during the videos, especially in the mastery as they were so long I found myself drifting off and having to rewind, a lot, having said that as much as i've wanted to smash my laptop, the feeling when you finally get it is unbelievable, thank you and I look forward to future learning with all my fellow heat geeks.

I've thoroughly enjoyed the course, it hasn't been easy but after eventually getting the answers to some of the difficult questions , I suddenly see how easy it actually is. Hot water Mastery I found very hard and i'm still trying to understand it. I'll have to watch the video a few more times. I'm going to enjoy putting all of this into practice. Brilliant course Thank you

The course is amazing and something i plan to keep revisiting to make the understanding embedded rather than referenced as i feel it is now. If i was to suggest a gap in this whole process then maybe that would be physical scenarios and product information especially in this 2nd part. Of all the learning I'm trying to bring into my everyday work and designs i find the biggest challenge is finding the products and manufacturers to enable this. Even done as a bolt on section at the end where manufacturers could partner with Heat Geek to create product reviews and explain how their pump, control, cylinder, plate HX or whatever would suit and compliment the low temperature, high efficient designs we are trying to create and control. Maybe this is a step beyond your remit, after-all i do honestly believe the challenge you've already taken whilst attempting to up skill the UK stock of heating engineers is beyond belief, maybe adding in the group that is manufacturers and getting them to the same place may be a push too far. But if they did buy in and started to drive from their side then it could be a win win for everyone. Thank You Team Heat Geeks

Really enjoyed the course, although I feel far from a Heat Geek Master at the moment but do feel like I've been given the tools to continue this journey and further my knowledge. Like passing a driving test the real learning starts in the weeks, months and years to follow and in fact never ceases. I'm far from clever but have managed to navigate and complete the course one step at a time. Which proves anybody with any or little background knowledge of the heating industry can too.

The course was very challenging. I was one of the 30 people picked to do the Awakening & Mastery courses for free ahead of the BEIS cut off on 31st October and have been pretty much working on this non stop since you granted me access. I changed career and started training as a heating engineer last year and have done so many different courses in both plumbing, gas & renewables over that time. This course is by far the most informative and useful piece of studying I have done to date. I had an air source heat pump installed in my house in January and have been upgrading my house to make the retrofit work. Everything I have done so far has been based on advice and assumption. As of this week I was able to take so much information from this course and look at my system and house to see what's good and what needs improvement. I thought I had a good grasp about efficient heating and what was required for a low temp system but the course has filled some huge gaps in my knowledge and shown me how much I didn't know, especially specific fine detail. I'm about to become a technical design consultant for a heat pump MCS umbrella company and this training has been absolutely key in underpinning my knowledge for that role. Where other courses outline the basic workings of heat pumps and guide you through how to complete MCS requirements/spreadsheets the heat geek courses actually teaches valuable design knowledge that’s going to ensure my customers get systems that work on every install. Thank you!

Firstly, tremendous thank you for this opportunity. The entire course is informative, and the information delivery pushes you towards critical thinking when it comes to answering the questions. I've found a lot of the information really has stayed in. One thing I did notice, I got caught out on a few rounding errors, where you state not to round until the end, I found rounding in the middle of some questions was required.

Completed Mastering Hydronic Design in Heating Systems. Absolutely blown away by the quality of the Heat Geek course and how much essential knowledge was packed in. I now feel just as confident with designing heat pump as gas boiler systems and have more enthusiasm as ever for my job. I am so proud of my friend Adam Chapman for developing thi course. I will endeavour to support him on his quest to renew the heating industry through peer-to-peer learning. Everyone interested in low carbon heating should do this course and if the government or big energy companies want to train up thousands of heat pump installers, they should put them all on it too.
